"Junko" and "Shiori" ´s Spooky New Year

Happy New Year, everybody! Looks like the daemons in Junko and Shiori stayed since October… and decided to stay there longer ;3 I’ve got stuff to say , but if you don’t really care about that feel free to just enjoy these New Year’s pics (´◡‿ゝ◡`)
First of all, I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who followed me or interacted with my work this year. I’ve gotten to talk to people I never thought I’d have the chance to, and I’ve met some truly wonderful folks along the way!!
In just one year, I reached 2,500+ followers, which is honestly way more than I ever expected (´ω`)
I originally started this (with a lot of encouragement from my gf, @MayBileCandy)with the goal of making content I wanted to see, and of improving my art. Things took a new turn when I noticed Pixiv’s weekly streak and decided to keep it going for as long as I could. I ended up loving that challenge because it pushed me to keep working, even when my quality varied a lot, and I sometimes felt my content was repetitive or not good enough.
Because of that (and because my IRL workload is going to increase a lot next year), I’ll be stopping the streak as of January (´ω`). I won’t be able to keep up with it anymore, so I’ll be making fewer pieces… but I’ll do my best to make each one better to make up for it!!
To everyone who commissioned me:
Thank you so much for trusting me with your hard-earned money, even during times when I felt like I didn’t deserve it, or that you could’ve commissioned someone better (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`).
Because of this (and a few unpleasant experiences with some people) I feel like I need to change how I handle commissions, both to keep myself a bit safer and to give you all a better product. That’s a topic for another day, though.
I really hope that this year I can keep making things you’ll enjoy.
Thank you all for sticking around 🖤
